CONCEPT
Neckscapes have evolved from my own love of scarves that make a colourful statement to elegantly lift a simple outfit.

Neckscapes are 'throw-n-go' scarves that are clipped in place with a Magnetic Scarf Clip and this is the key design element that allows them to be:

ELEGANT
Neckscapes are lightweight and comfortable to wear. The magnetic scarf clip is the secret here that allows me to play with shapes to make a scarf that is 'enough' without being 'too much'.

VERSATILE
Neckscapes come in different styles as can be seen below but most are reversible with a slightly different colourway on each side. The magnetic scarf clip allows it to be worn in different configurations.

CREATIVE
I love working creatively with felt as it is both tactile and colourful and no two neckscapes are ever exactly the same. I hope you will be inspired by the examples below.  The Ercildoune series of Neckscapes are new for 2010 and are inspired by the flowing lines of the local scenery. They incorporate hand painted silks and and use cobweb-felting techniques to make a scarf that is beautifully soft and light to wear.

 

'Translucent' Neckscapes
Merino wool felted on translucent silk with matching magnetic Scarf Clip.
Neckscapes are lightweight yet voluminous and ideal for evening or warm season wear.

 'Muffler' Neckscapes
Mufflers are beautifully soft and cosy to wear and look good over a polo or jacket. This one is claret knit with mainly purple merino wool. Accent details felted in silk and merino. Matching magnetic scarf clip.
Magnetic Scarf Clips hold scarves in place without damaging the material. The scarf is sandwiched between the clip (which is itself magnetic) and a powerfully magnetic back button. Scarf Clips are lightweight and have been individually hand crafted using felting techniques. Scarf Clips can be purchased online.
